RESPONSIBILITIES:  

The incumbent will be in charge of:

• Driving and moving farm-related equipment, livestock, and other things;
• Use and vehicle maintenance;
• Performing administrative chores that are connected;
• Handling ad hoc duties and mail delivery
• Offering support for general farm-related chores.

REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM:

• Grade 10;
• At least one year of demonstrable experience driving, transporting passengers, and providing services for a business, institution, or organization;
• The C-coded driver’s license.

COMPETENCES (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND BEHAVIORAL ATTRIBUTES) REQUIRED:

• familiarity with National Road specifications and rules;
• the vehicle’s characteristics and upkeep, such as fuel, pressure, etc.;
• Effective writing and verbal communication abilities;

Basic recording abilities;

• Knowledge of driving;
• literacy and mathematical abilities;
• Simple computer proficiency;
• Basic literacy and mathematical ability;
• Skillful use of agricultural equipment;
• Good conduct in work;
• The capacity for both teamwork and solo work;
• Relationships with others;
• Adept and dependable;
• Managing your time.

• Grade 12;
• A PDP that is currently in good standing;8

The annual compensation package will be decided by UP policy guidelines and will be appropriate with the incumbent’s level of appointment. UP pays 50% of the applicable monthly payment for the BESTMED and UMVUZO medical assistance programs.
