Primary tasks:

>To ensure delivery of the finished product, which may include but is not limited to Cubicles (HVC), Traction Converters, and Cables, electrical and mechanical components must first be physically assembled.

>To work in a setting that complies with business health, safety, and environmental regulations, follow the rules.

>To complete assembly work according to the necessary standards and procedures, one must read and interpret engineering drawings and method instruction sheets. (All domains)

>Assemble the parts in accordance with the instructions for the procedures and the drawing, making sure to complete every assignment completely.

>Check all finished assemblies to make sure everything is in order and to find any flaws.
If possible, fix the problems; if not, notify them as such.

>At the start and end of every task you undertake, fill out the status card.

>Verify the received material’s accuracy and amount, and notify any modifications that need to be made.

>Prior to beginning work and after the final product has been entirely constructed, clean commercial products in accordance with working instructions.

>Ensure the appropriate and secure usage of all equipment, materials, chemicals, and tools at all times.

>Utilizing the appropriate machinery and tools, connect cable wiring in accordance with wiring instructions or wiring lists.

>The TC and cubicles In relation to the cable store – Using a hand or mechanical crimping tool, attach terminal eyelets and lugs to the ends of the wire.

>Perform continuity and functional checks on electrical assemblies in accordance with working instructions as necessary.

>When appropriate, make sure you manually enter data onto the Maximo list and send it to the electronic Maximo system.Make sure you deliver a high-quality product.

>Make sure that everything is assembled “right the first time” by doing routine checks.

>Inform the production manager right away of any nonconformities or flaws.

Make sure all health and safety regulations are followed.

>Follow all safety guidelines, rules, policies, and instructions at all times.

>Make that the necessary PPE is worn at all times.

>Inform the production manager right away of any safety noncompliance or concerns. If the production manager is unavailable, please notify the safety representative, safety officer, or another member of management.

>Maintain the 5 philosophy in the workplace at all times: Sort, Simplify, Shine, Standardize, Sustain.
Perform any additional tasks tasked to you by your team leader, the EPU, the workshop, your line manager, or another person in authority.

>Assemblers could rotate between various tasks and work on them.

The following qualifications must be met:

>An advantage would be having Electrical Engineering Certificate – N3 and at least one year of relevant experience in a setting similar to that.
