Description of the Job
Taking directions from the Branch Manager
The Durban Branch presently does not have a candidate for the aforementioned position. It is the general obligation of this function to transport Crewman and Custodians in order to collect and deliver money for customers as well as providing confirmation of delivery and collection of said money.
The bare essentials are as follows:
• Complete absence of prior convictions
• PSIRA-accredited, with a Grade C qualification or higher as a minimal minimum.
• Certificate of Cash Held in Transit (CIT)
• Capability with guns, including a minimum qualification to carry a handgun for professional purposes
• A valid driver’s licence with a minimum code of C1 and a valid provisional driver’s permit
• A minimum of two years of experience working in the security industry or a role that is related (preferred at FSG);
• Capable of functioning effectively under pressure
• In good physical condition
• Full duty and liability for the delivery and collection of money belonging to clients
· Immediately and completely report any and all delays to the Operations Manager.
• Reporting occurrences and striving to prevent them
• Retain radio contact with the pilots of the aircraft.
• Respond with preventative measures to any behaviour that raises suspicion.
• Carry out an inspection of the vehicle and completing the checklist
• It is necessary of you that you drive responsibly and that you fill out documentation of any incidents or problems that occur while you are behind the wheel.

• You are required to have integrity and dependability.
• You must demonstrate excellent verbal and linguistic competence in order to be considered for this position.
• The individual must possess a strong will.
• You need to have the ability to motivate and encourage yourself.
• Focus your attention on the specifics of the situation.
• Providing service to existing clients and maintaining friendly relationships
• Capable of putting in additional work when it’s called for
