Balanced Work/Life Schedule: Most of our sites operate from Monday to Friday, with 45-hour working weeks and 9-hour shifts per day. Typical shifts start from 5/6 pm, and our well-organized schedules ensure you often know your driving routes in advance, eliminating unnecessary stress from your day.

The Job in a Nutshell:

We believe in empowering our drivers, trusting them to get the job done and plan their own routes. As a Class 1 LGV Night Driver, you will:

Ensure timely transportation of Cages, Pallets, Freight, Stillages, and Yorks to and from customers.
Plan your routes independently, enjoying the freedom of the open road during long stretches.
Handle loading or unloading at various sites, involving tasks such as scanning consignments and operating pallet trucks.
Conduct daily inspections of your vehicle and trailer, completing a Defect Report if necessary.
Prioritize customer satisfaction, communicating effectively to resolve queries and ensuring everything is ‘right first time.’
Requirements to Join Us:

Class 1 Driving license
Driver CPC qualification card
Completed required DCPC training hours or working towards it
Excellent knowledge of Road Transport Laws and commitment to the safe use of roads
A positive ‘can do’ attitude
