Description of the Job

In order to expand its workforce in Goodwood, Alert Engine Parts is looking for a Driver to join their team.This role’s objective is to guarantee the secure delivery of goods to and from the location in question, as well as to ensure that all procedures are carried out in the appropriate manner.

As a prerequisite:

Twelveth grade

• Experience in delivery for a minimum of three years

• Driver’s licence that is still valid, with a PDP- Essential

• A valid motorcycle licence is required.

It is essential to have good time management abilities.

• Capacity for effective communication

• Must be truthful and must demonstrate honesty

— Habits of sobriety

• Devoid of any criminal history

There are a number of Key Performance Indicators, including but not limited to.

• Pre-departure and post-departure inspections of the vehicle respectively

• On Mondays, inspection lists are to be returned to the Dispatch Supervisor so that they can be signed off on before a fresh inspection list is produced.

• Before the vehicle is allowed to leave the premises, any errors that have been made on the vehicle must be reported as soon as possible.

A strict adherence to the New Dispatch Loading method is required at all times, including while checking packages with the supervisor before loading them into the vehicle.

• delivering the packages to the clients along the path that you have specified, in accordance with the trip sheet and the route timetable.

• Determine whether or not the customer is following the POD method.

Ensure that you follow the RFC procedure.

• Delivering all of the documents and collection slips that have been assigned to your trip sheet and receiving proof of delivery will be required.

Please verify that all documents that were assigned to your name are complete and that they are received back the following day. Additionally, you are required to sign trip sheets in at the POD clerk.

• You will be responsible for any trip sheets that are still outstanding, and you will be held liable for any claims that are made regarding No pod queries.

Stock cannot be transferred between different customer stores.

• The upkeep and cleaning of the vehicle, as well as the prompt communication of any issues that may arise with the vehicle to the supervisor in charge of dispatching

• You are obligated to inform the dispatch supervisor of any issues that manifest themselves in relation to deliveries or PODs.
