Your Mission: Own the Frame

As a Camera Operator, you’ll be at the frontline of live TV production. Whether it’s a nail-biting soccer match or a high-energy variety show, your job is to deliver flawless visual coverage that keeps viewers hooked.

Your Key Roles on Set

1. Master of the Lens

Execute high-quality camera shots during live OB and studio productions

Align with director’s vision and adapt in real-time

2. Tech-Savvy Operator

Rig, test, and maintain camera gear

Troubleshoot on the fly and report faults

3. Team Collaborator

Communicate clearly with directors, producers, and crew

Maintain a strong network of production relationships

4. Time & Task Ninja

Manage your schedule

Follow internal procedures and safety protocols

5. Lifelong Learner

Stay up to date with emerging tech and trends

Take initiative in developing new skills

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves:

Grade 12 certificate

2–3 years’ live sport OB camera experience

EB Driver’s License

Tech-savvy with solid computer skills

Calm under pressure with strong communication skills

Bonus Points For:

Diploma in TV Broadcasting / Media Studies

Experience with variety shows
