Your Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the department’s financial operations, including:

Processing journal transfers, advances, claims, and requisitions

Issuing client invoices and managing debtors’ age analysis

Preparing monthly financial reports and statements

Offering strategic financial support to TuksSport management





Minimum Requirements to Apply

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:

A National Diploma in Accounting or Finance (must include Accounting as a subject)

3 years of experience in financial administration

At least 1 year of hands-on experience using Sage Pastel





Essential Skills and Knowledge

We are looking for someone with:

Proficiency in IFRS and VAT principles

Strong experience with ERP finance systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.)

Competency in data capturing and reconciliation

Solid MS Office skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)





What Sets You Apart (Preferred Qualifications)

You will have an added advantage if you possess:

A Degree in Accounting or Finance

5 years of experience in financial administration

Previous experience in a tertiary education institution using ERP systems
