Security Officer (Grade B)

About the Role

TSU Protection Services is looking for a dedicated and professional Grade B Security Officer to help uphold safety and maintain a secure environment for our clients. This is a dynamic opportunity for individuals who are vigilant, physically fit, and passionate about security services.




Core Responsibilities

As a TSU Security Officer, you will:

Maintain Visible Security Presence
Conduct regular patrols to deter illegal or inappropriate actions.

Control Access Points
Monitor and authorize entry of people and vehicles.

Prevent and Respond to Incidents
Remove trespassers, respond to alarms, and assess any threats or suspicious behavior.

Ensure Site Security
Secure all doors, windows, and exits after operations.

Operate Surveillance Systems
Monitor CCTV footage and investigate disruptions.

Assist and Report
Help those in need and prepare detailed daily activity reports.





Minimum Requirements

Certification: PSIRA Grade B – Registered and valid.

Education: Grade 12 (Matric).

Languages: Fluent in English and Afrikaans – verbal and written.

Fitness: Physically fit and capable of long hours on foot.

Appearance: Neat, presentable, and professional.

Criminal Record: Clear.

Residency: Must reside in or near Franschhoek or Paarl.

Assessment: Must successfully pass aptitude tests, interviews, and background checks.
