At Rectron, Sales is not just a department β it’s the heartbeat of our business. We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Sales Consultant to help us build lasting relationships, drive revenue, and elevate the customer experience.
π― Key Responsibilities
π§βπ€βπ§ Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned customer base.
Proactively manage account information and contact details on ERP systems.
Ensure customer accounts are current and all queries are resolved timeously.
Identify and sign up new customers that meet business criteria.
π¦ Order & Sales Management
Accurately process and manage customer orders using Rectronβs ERP system.
Ensure quotes are completed quickly, clearly, and accurately.
Keep customers informed about order status and delays.
Coordinate with logistics for timely collections and shipping documentation.
Track and manage backorders and weekly shelf inventory.
β Query Resolution
Address reseller queries promptly and liaise with appropriate departments.
Provide clear feedback to stakeholders within an hour of raising a query.
π§ Knowledge & Learning
π‘ Product Knowledge & Training
Stay updated with the latest Rectron products and services.
Complete all required online and in-person training sessions.
Share knowledge with teammates through internal tools and channels.
Actively engage in continuous learning and peer support.
π Communication & Collaboration
π€ Internal & External Communication
Maintain professional communication with all stakeholders.
Respond to quotes and queries within agreed SLAs.
Collaborate effectively with internal departments (Accounts, Logistics, Product Managers, etc.).
Regularly update your manager on pipeline orders and deal forecasts.
π Backup & Flexibility
π Coverage Planning
Nominate and prepare a capable backup during periods of absence.
Ensure continuity of customer service through adequate handovers.
Participate in Rectron trade exhibits and events as needed.
π Required Qualifications
Minimum Education: Matric (Grade 12)
Preferred: Sales/IT qualification
