Are you hands-on, customer-focused, and eager to work in a fast-paced environment? TimberCity Wonderboom is looking for a General Assistant who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and keep our store and yard running smoothly.

🚚 What You’ll Be Doing:

✅ Customer Support & Service Excellence

• Assist customers and delivery drivers with quick, accurate order collections
• Provide friendly and efficient support with loading and offloading vehicles

✅ Yard & Stock Management

• Keep yard stock neatly packed, easy to find, and accessible
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard and vehicle area

✅ Vehicle & Safety Responsibilities

• Ensure all outgoing vehicles are loaded securely and safely
• Keep company vehicles clean and presentable at all times

✅ Workshop / Joinery Assistance

• Provide workshop-related help where required
• Support with joinery tasks and customer queries

✅ Wash Bay & Housekeeping Duties

• Complete Wash Bay activities accurately and on time
• Keep store shelves, boards, and other stock well-merchandised and tidy

🎯 What You’ll Bring:

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Product knowledge (Timber and building materials is a plus)
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Willingness to perform physical tasks like lifting, carrying, and loading
