We are looking for a responsible and reliable Delivery Driver to join our Irene team. In this role, you’ll be the face of the company on the road—delivering building materials, handling stock carefully, and providing top-notch customer service.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

📦 Goods Handling & Delivery

Load and unload goods safely and efficiently

Deliver building supplies to customers on time

Ensure vehicle is packed in an organized and secure manner

Prevent damages, breakages, and product loss


🚛 Vehicle Maintenance & Inspections

Conduct daily vehicle checks and safety inspections

Report any vehicle defects or faults

Keep the delivery vehicle clean and well-maintained


🧾 Documentation & Administration

Ensure delivery notes are signed and authorized

Collect COD (Cash on Delivery) payments when required

Supply customers with the correct quantities and items


🤝 Customer Interaction

Provide friendly, helpful customer service

Represent The Building Company’s brand and values during deliveries

✅ Minimum Requirements

Education: Grade 12 / Matric

Driver’s License: Code 8 (LV) or Code 10 (HV)

Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant driving/delivery experience

Skills: Basic vehicle maintenance, good communication, time management
