Thorburn Security Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated Grade B Control Room Operator to join our Midrand-based team. Reporting directly to the Security Manager, you will play a critical role in monitoring and managing security operations for one of our major clients — ensuring the safety and integrity of TFG Warehouses.

🛡️ Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate CCTV systems (including investigative and review functions).
• Manage access control systems, including Gallagher and Hikvision.
• Respond to intruder and panic alarms.
• Monitor electric fences and other perimeter security systems.
• Operate public address (PA) and evacuation systems effectively.
• Liaise via the Remrad system with local emergency services (e.g., Fire Brigade).
• Record and report all incidents accurately and in a timely manner.

📄 Requirements

• Education: Minimum Grade 11; Maximum Grade 12.
• PSIRA Registration: Valid Grade B (Grade A also acceptable).
• Certifications:
  • Level 1 First Aid
  • Basic Fire Fighting
• Computer Literacy: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Clearance: Must have no criminal or credit record.
