Job Title: UI Claims Officer

Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
- Experience: 0–6 months (entry-level)
- Knowledge of:
- Unemployment Insurance Act
- Unemployment Insurance Contributions Act
- Public Service Regulations and Act
- Batho Pele Principles
- Departmental policies and procedures
- Customer care practices
- Skills:
- Verbal and written communication

Key Responsibilities:
- Process Unemployment Insurance (UI) claims on the relevant systems in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Register employers and validate employee declarations as per regulations
- Facilitate the timely payment of approved claims
- Respond to inquiries related to processed claims or other claims matters
- Handle administrative tasks within the department
