Position: Bus Driver
Location: City of Ekurhuleni, Gauteng
Type: Permanent
Salary: R292,944 – R401,832 per annum (basic salary, excluding benefits)

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 10 certificate
• Valid Code C, EC, or EC1(04) driver’s license with PrDP
• At least 1 year of experience driving buses or trucks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate municipal buses along designated routes
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any vehicle defects
• Ensure passengers pay the correct fare and that the ticketing system is functioning properly
• Complete and submit trip logs as per procedure at the end of each shift
• Provide passengers with information regarding schedules, fares, and coupon validity
• Report route issues or accidents and complete all necessary documentation for investigation
• Maintain order on the bus and demonstrate professional conduct towards passengers and the public
