Introduction

Cure Day Hospitals is a fast-growing and innovative healthcare group with 14 operational hospitals nationwide. We are looking for a motivated Credit Clerk Learner to join our Finance Team at Head Office in Erasmuskloof, Pretoria.

This is a 12-month learnership programme designed to provide you with practical financial experience and mentorship in a dynamic and professional healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

As part of this programme, you will gain exposure to:

• Processing and reconciling cashbooks daily and monthly.
• Supporting the loading of weekly and monthly payments via electronic banking.
• Updating the payment app as payments are processed.
• Following up on bank queries to ensure payments are successful.
• Assisting with supplier invoice processing and ensuring compliance with company policy.
• Performing supplier reconciliations and resolving queries.
• Managing supplier accounts to ensure they remain within 30 days.
• Opening new supplier accounts and handling refund requests.
• Communicating with hospitals on purchases and queries.
• Assisting with filing, record keeping, and general finance administration.
• Supporting the Group Financial Accountant as needed.

Requirements

To be considered, you should have:

• A Diploma or Degree in Accounting (or related field).
• Strong attention to detail with good communication skills.
• Basic understanding of accounting software (Sage Evolution / Business Dynamics – advantageous).
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team.
• Deadline-driven mindset and ability to work under supervision.
