About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Attendant (Belt) to join our operations team at Eastern Chrome Mines, Thorncliffe Mine. Reporting to the Engineering Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of conveyor belts – a critical link in achieving production targets.

This role requires strict adherence to the company’s HSEC standards, legal requirements, and policies, while supporting a team committed to maintaining seamless operations underground.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist within the engineering section to ensure safe, reliable, and optimum production.
• Operate, maintain, and service conveyor belts to minimize downtime.
• Support the implementation of management decisions and compliance initiatives.
• Uphold safety procedures and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

About You

✔️ Grade 10 qualification (or equivalent).
✔️ Previous experience in a similar position (advantageous).
✔️ Medically fit to work underground.
✔️ Strong communication and report-writing skills.
✔️ Results-driven with a commitment to accuracy and timely task completion.
