About the Role

Air Chefs, a subsidiary of South African Airways, is seeking a dedicated CSA/Driver to join our Operations Support team in Boksburg.
The role involves assembling flights, checking and transporting catering equipment, meals, and beverages to aircraft, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with strict aviation safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver flight meals and equipment according to schedules and aircraft configurations.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain all safety protocols.
• Ensure accurate handover to cabin crew and confirm all flight specifications.
• Maintain communication with Operations and report any vehicle or operational issues.
• Keep all work areas clean and compliant with HACCP and food safety standards.
• Assemble trolleys and ovens per client and menu specifications.
• Adhere to ACSA ramp safety, SHEQ, and aviation security requirements.

Requirements

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
• Valid Code 10 driver’s licence with PDP.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in in-flight loading.
• Knowledge of aircraft load configurations.
• Willing to undergo ACSA ramp safety, HACCP, and food safety training.
