ESSENTIAL AREA OF PERFORMANCE
Get the stock and check it against the delivery notes.
Assist with ad hoc reception tasks and accept and file all delivery notes.
Verify that every document has been processed and that the system’s number sequence is accurate.
For the receiving process, electronically collect invoices and associate them with orders and delivery notes.
Record, handle, and handle claims (warranty, damaged goods, short or excess deliveries, and out-of-date inventory).
Resolve client enquiries and preserve positive client relationships with both internal and external clients.
Create reports from the system on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis (outstanding claims, purchase orders, negative on-hand reports, etc.).
Help with the quarterly stock-taking and create stock-taking reports.
On the system, record stock count sheets.
Create a report on variation and inform the line manager about it.
Keep suppliers informed about any unpaid invoices, credit notes, or stock inconsistencies on a regular basis.
Verify that the codes, pricing, and stock match the orders and stock that were received.
Make sure to perform cash-ups every day. Make sure that cash shortages and surpluses are paid in accordance with the policy.
Inform the regional banking clerk of the daily cash up, including balances and variances.
