In this role, you will be responsible for preparing food for daily kitchen production, ensuring exceptional food service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively within a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
- Maintain high hygiene and cleaning standards in line with Fedics guidelines.
- Prepare and present food attractively and promptly.
- Adhere to correct portion control measures.
- Assist in menu planning and stock control.
- Stay updated with food trends and best practices.
- Be flexible to work overtime when required.
Skills and Competencies:
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
- Basic computer literacy.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.
- Exceptional culinary skills.
- Strong client and customer service orientation.
Qualifications:
- Proven cooking experience.
- Matric certificate.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Culinary qualification is advantageous.
