Key Responsibilities
Security Monitoring: Leverage Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Endpoint, and Defender for Cloud to detect and respond to threats.
Threat Hunting: Perform proactive threat hunting using IOCs and threat intelligence.
Incident Response: Investigate, analyze, and manage cybersecurity incidents from detection to recovery.
Risk Management: Map business processes to crown jewels, conduct risk assessments, and enhance cyber resilience.
Endpoint Security: Maintain endpoint protection platforms (EDR) and ensure compliance across devices.
Technology Leadership: Optimize cybersecurity platforms and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaboration: Prepare reports, present findings to leadership, and work closely with diverse teams.
Required Skills and Experience
4–6 years’ experience in a SOC or cybersecurity-related role.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender XDR, Azure Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Mimecast, JAMF, Fortinet, Sophos, Symantec DLP, and cloud environments.
Knowledge of Windows, Linux/UNIX systems, VMware, Cisco, and cybersecurity tools like WAFs, proxies, firewalls, IAM, PAM, MFA, NAC.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage complex security incidents independently under pressure.
