About the Role
At Hamad International Airport (HIA), we believe that people are the heart of our success. We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Driver/Messenger to join our Transport Services team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and timely movement of documents, mail, and personnel across the airport and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
As a Driver/Messenger, your duties will include:
- Providing safe and efficient transportation services by driving a variety of vehicles for staff, documents, and small packages.
- Collecting and delivering inter-office and external mail, documents, and parcels on a regular schedule.
- Ensuring all items reach the correct department or personnel within the Qatar Airways Group.
- Collecting mail from the post office and assisting with sorting as required.
- Maintaining accurate daily records of all documents and packages delivered.
- Monitoring vehicle condition, promptly reporting any maintenance or repairs required.
- Keeping the vehicle clean, hygienic, and aligned with corporate standards at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A High School qualification with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- A valid Qatari Driver’s License.
- Strong driving skills with knowledge of Doha’s road network and traffic regulations.
- Good communication skills in spoken and written English.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
