Deliveries and Collections
- Timely and effective collection of payments from consumers and delivery of related paperwork to them.
- Task was handed off to the appropriate workers, and management was notified right away when it couldn’t be finished.
- Vehicles will be collected as needed, ensuring that quality/damage inspections are performed and necessary paperwork is completed.
- Before beginning a task, consult with the appropriate staff members to make sure the greatest number of tasks are carried out effectively.
- Ensure that the safest and most effective paths are taken.
- Ensure that vehicles are maintained in good condition by reporting defects and maintenance or service requirements.
- Ensure that all documentation is properly filled out.
- Keep precise records of all trips taken using a log book and delivery schedule.
Customer service
- As a company representative, make sure all contacts with customers are courteous.
- Customers will be taken to their destinations in a timely, courteous, and safe manner.
- Ensure that cars are always maintained spotless.
- All customer inquiries and concerns will be treated professionally and directed to the appropriate management.
- Watch out that the reputation of the business is not damaged.
- Inform management of any danger, delays, or issues you encounter on the road.
Risk Control
- All cheques and cash must be tallied and signed for.
- Ensure driving is free from collisions, property damage, and traffic violations.
- Ensure that driving, accident, and driver policies are understood and followed.
- Ensure that all safety protocols and regulatory requirements are followed
Overview of the position
To ensure the timely collection and delivery of paperwork, vehicles, parts, staff transportation, and other associated jobs while maintaining road safety and abiding by traffic laws in order to offer customers professional service in line with the company’s values.
Particular Role Responsibilities
- Gather all cars from other branches, clients, and external suppliers.
- Deliver vehicles to clients, other branches, external suppliers, and any other necessary locations
- Transporting clients who brought their automobiles in for service
- Vehicle movement inside the workshop
- Immediately notify the Service Manager of any accidents and traffic violations.
- Put in additional time as needed
- Have vehicles inspected for roadworthiness
- Help customers in the workshop or on the showroom floor.
- Assist customers in finding automobiles when picking up vehicles
- Drive automobiles into and out of garages and parks
Skills and Experience
- Grade 12 is the minimum
- 1-3 years of driving experience in a comparable position or function
- A valid driver’s license
