To load, unload, and stack corporate items in a safe and efficient manner, a top FMCG firm is seeking suitable and experienced people for Forklift Driver roles in the Stores Department in Lakeside.
Principal Tasks and AccountabilitiesPalletised commodities are moved from a designated origin to a designated destination.
Palletised material is stacked and unstacked in accordance with established norms.
• Performs daily inspections and refuels in accordance with the checklist. Performs ad hoc administrative tasks pertaining to the warehouse; conducts audits and reports on the accuracy of completed split pallet loads; and always complies with safety regulations (including PPE). upholds a high degree of cleanliness.
Education, Experience, and Skills
REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and counting in grade 12.
• One year or more of work experience
• A certified body must certify one as competent.
• Physically fit and healthy, with no back issues and good vision;
• Forklift licence Behavioural Proficiency
• Uphold safe driving procedures;
• Maintain housekeeping standards
• Effective communication abilities.
• Strong communication skills.
• Both eyes have good vision.
• Compute.
