Job Opportunity: Retail Customer Service Associate
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Retail Customer Service Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-tier customer service, maintaining merchandising standards, and ensuring a clean and safe shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. Exceptional Customer Service
Assist Customers: Advise customers on the right products and help resolve any queries or complaints.

Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customers have a positive shopping experience by providing helpful, courteous service.

2. Merchandising & Stock Management
Stock Merchandising: Safely organize and display bulk stock according to store layout and planograms.

Price Labelling: Ensure that all products are accurately priced and displayed according to store standards.

3. Housekeeping & Store Environment
Maintain Cleanliness: Keep your assigned area free from obstacles and ensure it’s always ready for customer access.

Stock Organization: Ensure all new stock is merchandised immediately upon receipt.

4. Health & Safety Compliance
OHSA Standards: Follow Occupational Health and Safety regulations, using appropriate safety gear and ensuring customer and staff safety.

Stock Safety: Ensure all products are safely organized to prevent accidents and injuries.

Essential Job Requirements
1. Educational Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:

Grade 10 or NQF Level 3 with one year of related experience, OR

Grade 12 with no prior work experience.

2. Skills & Abilities
Effective Communication: Fluency in English and the local dominant language is essential.

Basic Math Skills: Must be able to perform simple calculations accurately.

Customer Interaction: Must be able to assist with customer inquiries and complaints professionally.

3. Work Conditions
Flexible Schedule: Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Pressure Management: Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a high standard of service.

Additional Responsibilities
1. Stock Loss & Damage Management
Report Damaged Goods: Inform the store manager of any damaged stock within your assigned area to ensure quick resolution.

2. Achieving Results
Target-Driven: Strive to meet sales targets and deliver consistent quality according to company standards.

Commitment to Quality: Complete tasks promptly and accurately, always striving for excellence.

3. Problem Solving
Identify Issues: Detect potential problems and address their root causes.
