Job Purpose
The Assistant General Worker provides hands-on site support to ensure smooth daily operations, safety compliance, and achievement of operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Support site teams in achieving operational goals and performance targets
- Assist with daily site inspections and report hazards, deviations, or unsafe conditions
- Provide assistance with pipeline and valve operations under supervision
- Support problem-solving activities and escalate operational issues when required
- Carry out general site duties as assigned to support operational efficiency
- Maintain high housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe working environment
- Perform all duties in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Adhere strictly to company safety policies, rules, and regulations
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
Experience:
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience
Skills and Competencies
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong teamwork and listening abilities
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and take instruction
- High level of safety awareness
Additional Requirements
- Successful criminal and background screening
- Ability to work rotating shifts
- Willingness to work overtime when required
- Must be physically, mentally, and medically fit
