Salary: R138 486 per annum
Location: Head Office – Laundry Services, Tygerberg Laundry
Minimum Requirement:
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
Experience:
- Appropriate laundry and linen experience in a central laundry setting
Inherent Job Requirements:
- Physically fit to perform manual labour
Key Competencies (Knowledge/Skills):
- Good communication skills
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Wash, dry, fold and iron linen, clothing and other textiles
- Assist with mixing and handling of cleaning chemicals
- Load and unload washing machines and tumble dryers
- Empty soiled linen bags for sorting, counting, sealing and stacking for dispatch
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area
