Description
The goals of the Road Accident Fund are to:
◇ Offer suitable coverage to all users of South African roads; promptly and compassionately rehabilitate and recompense individuals hurt in motor vehicle accidents; and aggressively encourage safe road usage.
Places: East London (two posts) Gqeberha (one place) Mthatha (two places)
The driver/messenger’s responsibility
◇ is to safely convey individuals, documents, and/or items to and from a designated location. When moving people, equipment, and/or documents, the incumbent must adhere to national-specific road safety rules and regulations and follow the proper safety measures.
◇ The position holder will also have to report any vehicle issues, accidents, traffic infractions, equipment loss or damage, and unforeseen delays.
◇ They must also follow work schedules.Crucial Areas of PerformanceServices for Messenger Collect correspondence from the appropriate government agency, confirm receipt by comparing it to the list.
◇ Deliver messages or packages on schedule. Take care when handling documents and parcels.
◇ Deliveries should be driven to their location.

◇ Make sure that the National Archives Act and the RAF’s RM goals and strategies are followed when archiving scanned files and documents.

◇ Send the Records Manager the transfer (Metro-file) and requests for records that are no longer in use.
◇ Maintain a log of the records sent to off-site storage, prepare and capture the documents to be moved there, and forward them to Records Management.
◇ Get the index spread sheet for records files and monitor all updates for off-site records. Keep track of the department’s records, noting the retention duration, file plan reference number, and title of each record series as specified in the Records Retention Schedule (RRS).

Qualifications
◇ Certificate of Matriculation or Grade 12
◇ a current driver’s license with code 10 (EC1/EC).
◇ Permit for Professional Driving.

◇ a minimum of one year’s experience working as a driver or messenger.
