Before we get started:
People who are suitably qualified can apply for the position of Driver EC, which will be headquartered in Bentley Park, which is situated close to Carletonville in the province of Gauteng, and which is presently accepting applications from interested parties. The person who is ultimately chosen for this position will be accountable for providing reports to the Foreman of Engineering Raise Drilling.
A Checklist of Responsibilities and Commitments
The successful applicant will be accountable for a wide range of responsibilities, some of which include, but are not limited to the following:
- Transportation and loading support, primarily for the transportation of materials and equipment within a predetermined area
- Verify that the information in the log books and on the checklist is correct.
- Ensure that the correct weight distribution is maintained.
Immediately report any instances in which the vehicle was operated improperly or experienced a malfunction.
- Each and every automobile is immaculate, and its upkeep is completely up to date.
- Responsible for the health and safety of the staff members working within their assigned area of responsibility
- Carry out all work in accordance with the standards, rules, and procedures established by M&RC, as well as any applicable laws governing occupational safety.
- You should always be prepared to put in extra time at the office, even if doing so isn’t required of you, and this readiness should never waver.
- Efficient self-management that is consistent with the fundamental principles upheld by the M&RC
Desired Levels of Professional Experience and Accomplishments
Candidates who wish to be considered qualified are required to meet the following requirements, both in terms of their skills and qualifications:
- Successful completion of grade 12 or an education that is equal to level 4 on the NQF
- You are need to have a valid driver’s licence that was issued by the EC.
- You are need to have a current licence that allows you to drive for a living.
- High-Altitude Authorization for Crane Work is Desirable but Not Required
- You are required to have a licence for advanced driving, and having one is preferred.
- The ability to communicate and organise information in an efficient manner.
Candidates that have the following sorts of job experience are required to apply if they match the requirements: - A minimum of two years’ worth of experience working in a related capacity as a licenced EC Driver
- You must have at least two years of experience behind the wheel or operating mobile equipment to qualify for this position.
- Knowledge of how the loads on the vehicle should be distributed in the most effective manner
