✈️ About the Role

As the Quality Assurance Lead, you will champion the implementation of quality frameworks and standards across QR Cargo systems and processes. You will analyse performance metrics, evaluate system releases, and drive continuous improvement to ensure our customers receive world-class service across all touchpoints.

Your work will enable seamless system performance, higher customer satisfaction, and data-driven decision-making across Cargo operations.


🔧 Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & System Governance

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive QA strategy for cargo applications and support services.
  • Define quality benchmarks, KPIs, and service standards in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Lead proactive quality control activities—including inspections, audits, and structured reviews.
  • Analyse performance trends and recommend improvements to elevate service desk performance and customer experience.

Testing & Release Management

  • Build and maintain test plans, use-cases, and scripts to validate application functionality and usability.
  • Ensure all releases are thoroughly tested according to change request requirements.
  • Document findings, highlight improvement areas, and support enhancement of release processes.

Knowledge Management

  • Build and maintain a dynamic knowledge base featuring troubleshooting guides and process documentation.
  • Implement structured knowledge management processes—categorisation, verification, version control, and content governance.
  • Train support teams to leverage the knowledge base effectively, improving resolution rates and service consistency.

Team Leadership

  • Lead a team of QA analysts and knowledge management specialists.
  • Set clear performance direction, mentor team members, and drive a high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate closely with support managers and stakeholders to resolve quality issues and embed best practices.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

Technical & Professional Expertise

  • Proven experience in implementing QA processes within cargo or logistics applications.
  • Strong understanding of service desk environments and operational workflows.
  • Proficient in QA methodologies, root cause analysis, auditing, and testing.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with applications such as PROS, Salesforce, CROMIS, etc.

Leadership & Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Project management and change management expertise.
  • Ability to coach, delegate, and build cohesive teams.
  • Customer-centric, detail-driven, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge management experience is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
