The senior certificate or grade 12 is required, or an equivalent degree. No prior experience necessary. National Archives Act information. Public Service Rules (PSR). the PSA, or Public Service Act. Batho Pele Principles, the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), and record management. Communication is an ability. Computer Skills and Listening Interpersonal, planning, and organizing skills, as well as time management.

Service at the registry counter; handling of incoming and outgoing mail. Effective record management and filling services. Using the registry function as a reference, operate office equipment. Documents should be processed for disposal or archiving.

The NSG offers the course under the name Certificate for admission into SMS. A technical competency test, the specifics of which will be disclosed by the Department, will be administered to all candidates for SMS positions who have been shortlisted. This test’s goal is to evaluate candidates’ knowledge of the relevant technical requirements of the position. A performance agreement for the internship will be required from the chosen candidate.
