Characteristics and Introduction Those individuals who are interested in applying for a Wholesale and Retail SETA Funded Learnership are encouraged to do so by JD Group, which includes the brands Bradlows, Russells, Rochester, and Sleepmasters. We are searching for individuals who are young, energetic, and eager to participate in a Wholesale and Retail SETA supported Learnership that will last for a period of twelve months.
During the course of their professional development within the JD Group (Bradlows, Russells, Rochester, and Sleepmasters), these individuals will have the opportunity to play an exciting role. Our company is providing prospective employees with an excellent opportunity to enter the workforce. One of the primary objectives of this programme is to cultivate individuals who will contribute their full potential to the organisation. The individuals who are successfully selected will acquire experience in a variety of wholesale and retail settings.
Every one of the nine provinces is participating in our Learnership Programmes in the Retail Sector. In-store learnerships will cover the following topics over the course of twelve months: Help customers while they are shopping (customer service) on the shop floor The management of displays, as well as marketing and merchandise The basics of the English language The principles of mathematics Using the point-of-sale system to record transactions and proceed with payment processing Having an understanding of the relationship between wholesale and retail Creating brand new accounts Keeping stock losses under control and maintaining them Personalities that the company is seeking for are as follows: Maintain a positive and “can do” attitude. centred on providing service to customers Skilled in the English language Highly motivated Problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn Ability to Adapt Candidates must meet the following requirements in order to submit an application for the Learnership: Possess a Senior Certificate (Matric or equivalent) To be a citizen of South Africa, you must not have any criminal records.
