To achieve the objective of maximum the personal, physical, and psychological development of each and every child, pre-primary educators will be required to construct a learning environment that will encourage and cultivate children’s individual abilities, as well as prepare them for formal education. Qualifications and Experience That Are Highly Relevant:
a post-matriculation certificate (NQF level 5) in early childhood development (ECD) or an undergraduate degree (NQF level 6) in ECD or a Bachelor of Education (Foundation Phase) degree in ECD is required as a minimum qualifications.
• A postgraduate certificate of education would be necessary in the event that the degree is deemed suitable, such as in the case of Psychology.
Not only is a clearance from the police department required, but also a certification from the SACE is anticipated.
• A span of two to five years of experience in the classroom
